We’re scaling quickly, and now looking for a world-class Financial Controller to help architect the financial infrastructure that helps continue to double our business annually — and beyond.
The Role
You’ll be the heartbeat of the company’s financial strategy and operational alignment.
This is not a back-office number cruncher role. You’ll be the operational co-pilot to the CEO, making sure:
- We hit our revenue targets.
- Our margin stays tight and intentional.
- Our projections match our reality.
- Our cash is optimized and future-proofed.
You’ll bring rigor to the chaos. Simplicity to the complexity. Accountability to the vision.
You’ll Own
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting
Build and maintain models that align daily sales with long-term projections. Update them in real-time and advise based on real data, not wishful thinking.
- Actuals vs. Projections Tracking
Weekly, monthly, quarterly reviews of where we hit or missed — and what to do about it. You’ll provide Matt with detailed reports on the company bottlenecks and areas to improve, as well as communicating with other key leadership and team members to ensure that we're rapidly pacing towards targets.
- Accounts Receivable & Collections
Make sure we’re collecting what’s owed, when it’s owed with grace and grit.
- Cash Flow Management
Know exactly how much runway we have and how to extend it, even while scaling fast.
- Sales Ops Alignment
Track conversion rates, upsell performance, and churn. Collaborate with sales and founder success to improve every lever.
- Expense Optimization
Spot unnecessary burn. Align every dollar with ROI.
- Tooling & Reporting
Maintain clear dashboards and operating metrics that keep the whole team aligned.
- Financial Strategy
Serve as a strategic thought partner on hiring, incentives, and offer structures.
You Might Be a Fit If…
- You’ve been a financial controller or operator in a fast-scaling business, ideally in high-ticket education, coaching, or SaaS.
- You’ve worked with $5M–$25M/year companies and know what’s needed at each stage.
- You’re fluent in founder psychology — you know how to support a visionary while keeping them grounded.
