Role: Contract (Long-Term, Production-Owned)
Location: Remote / Travel-Based
Reports to: Head of Content (Diego)
Mission: Expand FounderOS’s global production bandwidth by owning both capture and edit of cinematic, high-performing YouTube videos.
FounderOS is building a global, cinematic, performance-driven media engine, and production quality is a bottleneck.
We’re looking for a producer-editor who can operate confidently behind the camera and in the edit, capturing raw material that is not just beautiful, but usable, intentional, and performance-ready.
This role exists to reduce dependency on a single shooter, expand global production capacity, and raise the ceiling of FounderOS storytelling.
You will travel to work with Matt Gray in real environments, homes, retreats, events, and day-to-day life, capturing footage that becomes the backbone of YouTube videos, cinematic vlogs, and narrative storytelling.
This is a high-trust, high-autonomy, high-stakes role. Missed shots or compromised audio are unacceptable. You are expected to operate calmly under pressure and deliver consistently, even when conditions are imperfect.
You’ve personally shot and edited long-form YouTube videos and understand how production decisions affect post-production and retention.
You stay composed in run-and-gun environments and solve problems instead of escalating them.
You think about the edit while you’re shooting, coverage, continuity, narrative beats.
You take accountability seriously and understand that talent’s time is sacred.
You are excited by travel-based production and building visual systems that compound over time.
You want to grow inside one brand, not bounce between gigs.
You will own the end-to-end execution of select YouTube videos, from production to final edit.
You will execute production briefs on location, direct Matt on camera within brand guidelines, and capture cinematic, edit-ready footage with intention across audio, lighting, composition, and camera movement.
You will then carry that footage through post-production, editing with retention, narrative clarity, and performance in mind. You will build and maintain cinematic B-roll systems and visual motifs that elevate the FounderOS brand across formats.
You will travel to shoot with Matt approximately every four to six weeks, often in Bali or Dubai, with occasional shoots elsewhere. Production intensives typically last one to two weeks. Travel is covered.
You will not miss or under-prepare for shoots, rely on perfect conditions, compromise audio quality, or attempt to “fix it in post.”
Success in this role looks like clean shoots without reshoots, consistently professional audio and footage quality, edits that meet or exceed channel performance benchmarks, and increasing autonomy over time.
You are trusted to operate independently in the field and contribute meaningfully to FounderOS’s evolving visual language.
You get to work at the intersection of filmmaking, storytelling, and YouTube performance.
You will shape the cinematic identity of one of the most respected founder-led media brands in the world.
You’ll travel, build systems, and create content that lasts — not disposable clips.
Your work directly increases FounderOS’s ability to scale production without sacrificing quality.
